Ok this whole band thing started when i was in about seventh grade, me and my brother got together with a guitarist brook (its a guy) and learned the song welcome to paridise so we could play at the talent show that year. we all sucked alot worse then then we do now. after the show, we decided that brook was a little bitch and wasnt serious enough about the band, plus he had just started guitar and wasnt that great. by now it was summer and adam knew a dude that played guitar, so we went and played with him for a while. his name was sameer but that was too damn wierd so we just called him sam we had a cover band going with him for about 2 months until we realized that he had no fucking rhythm at all. so then we switch to brent one of my friends since sixth grade. he wasnt bad at all, but his equipment SUCKED and his parents were asses and never let him do ne thing, plus he cracked alot when he sang. but anyway we played at a couple of partys with him, and we thought we had something. but then...he got grounded for like a year. so me and adam are like fuck this and searched for yet another guitarist. So me and adam look around to find that we had a guitarist under our nose the entire fucking time his name was Chris Branson, he was older than me and adam but good, he had a bad amp, but it didnt matter cuz by then me and adam had gotten this vintage peavey thing from our dad. he and his friend kyle came over and we started a band. it was going great, until we realized how much chris worked at the steak and shake and that he never had any freetime, so getting him and kyle together was almost impossible. so that fell apart. after that we tried some more combination stuff, like sameer and brent, or brent and brook, but none of them could ever get along. now it was time for another talent show, so we had to put somehting together quick so we settled with brook again. he had gotten better but still not too serious, but that was ok, we put together the song prosthetic head and won the talent show. after that we felt like brook was again a little bitch who wasnt serious enough, so we go back to sam hoping that a year of band and playing drums would help his rhythm on guitar. it was looking good, we played at this chick, jackie's party thingy and they invited us back, so we were like fuck yeah and went home and tried to put together the songs that they wanted us to learn. then we found sams big weakness, he could play almost any song there was, he could solo, but he couldnt keep a beat and he well, he kinda sucked. so here we are AGAIN, with no guitar, i was in 8th grade by now and it was nearing the end of the year, i was talking to brook and he said that he was already in another band but they kinda sucked, they were heavy metal, and they had some other dude make up songs for them, (what a bunch of fags right) ok well then brook decided to quite that band and get back with us, brook had gotten a hell of alot better, and he could make up pretty cool parts to the songs we had, PLUS his mom said that she would pay for a recording if we made up 12 good songs. so we got to work. and we were on a time limit too because our mom had sprung it on us that we were moving at the end of the summer. well summer was here and we got off to a good start we played at that chick, jackie's bday party with brook. it was kinda funny, cuz jackies boyfriend and 2 other dudes were there but apparently they left early because jackie karrah and Amy were giving us all of the attention. it was great. so then we started on our originals. we already had some songs but staying home all day during the summer gave me alot of time to write. we came out with like 18 songs, but brooks mom was only willing to pay for a 12 track recording so we scratched out our 6 worst songs. this was about at the middle of july. ok the summer was coming to an end so we hadnt practiced at all in weeks, and Adam and I were moving in like than six days. brook had gone out of town for a while but came back on the third. he called me and gave me a hell of alot of shit about stuff that didnt even matter, he was the one who was supposed to set up a date to record cuz his mom was paying. so we called the studio right then and there, and, unexpectedly, they said they had a day open in which we could record. it was two days from the day we called! so we got our act together and practiced all day the day before we recorded. even though all of our songs werent perfect, it had to do cuz we were moving. so the next day we head to the studio and record our debut album.
Recording
The day of the recording session, adam and I woke up early cause we couldn't really sleep with the anticipation of the next day. We warmed up at about 8:30 in the morning, just drums, bass, and vocals (Brook's lazy ass wasn't out of bed yet), and at about 10:00, we went over to Brook's to get him so that we could make sure everybody had the songs fresh in their heads, but Brook broke his fucking guitar, so the only song we all practiced before we went was Merry Christmas (which was accoustic). We planned to leave at 11:00 'cause our recording session started at noon, so we started packing up Adam's kickass drumset and loading it in the car. That was the only equipment we took with us, besides picks, cause we were planning on using the studio's Gibson Les Paul plus all the rest of their equipment that was shitloads better than ours'. When we got there, the studio looked fucking awesome, and we talked with this righteous engineer dude named Tye for about a half-hour straight on how we planned to record and what needed to be set up before we actually started setting up. About two hours later, we were ready to record our first song: A Song for Garret and Assoc. (We Hate The Smiths). We had a time limit that only lasted until the end of the day, and one day is a really short time when you consider that professional bands, and even well-known local bands spend weeks or months in the studio. Since we had so little time, we had to record all of our songs live, and get it right on only the first or second take. Even doing this, it took us 4 hours just to record the first half of the album. Brook's mom provided Big Mac's so we took a break. We went back into the studio and recorded the rest of our songs, which took us another 2 hours to hours. By then, we were all trashed and ready to go home, but we still had to mix all the songs down. It took us another 4 hours to do this, and it was midnight when all of the tracks were balanced between vocals, bass, drums, and guitar. Tye burned us 4 master copies of our completed cd, we loaded adam's drums back into the van, and we headed home, after 12 hours in the studio.

Funny Shit
Here's some funny stuff
When we got to the studio and asked to use the Les Paul, they didn't think it was at the studio that day. But it was
Track 4 was made up on the spot in the studio (listen to it, it's funny)
Our studio engineer is the drummer for the Dragonball Z soundtrack
Adam almost murdered Brook whenever he started being a sarcastic little bitchwhore.
Brook air-kisses his girlfriend on AIM
Brent wears tye-dye wife-beaters and fake earrings
When we were playing at a community pool, this bitch came up and told us to stop playing, so Adam does the loudest rimshot ever, and she threatens to call the police, so later we all go pee-pee on her lawn.
Adam was playing his drums at 3 in the morning, this seems to bother the neighbors for some reason, so the cops come and start yelling at him. He tells them to fuck off.
